First Kiss.The water lapped at the side of the canal, the small family of ducks riding the miniature waves that were caused by the boat gliding serenely past. The sun hung high in the sky above Bruges, warming the city with mild summer heat – not too warm, neither too cool, just right. The scent of chocolate hung in the air, perfuming everything with its sweet smell. The scene was perfect. His hand hovered above the canvas, pencil poised above the clean white surface. He pondered how best to capture her into the picture, a lasting tribute to her beauty. She was sitting on the edge of the canal, feet dangling over the edge swinging serenFirst Kiss.
Trifle.The bowl of trifle sat on the table, freshly made, delicious. A sickly sweet treat that was ever so fattening, but ever so nice. The jelly was bright red, quivering gently; appetising, almost cheeky in the way that it was so tempting. The layer of cream was spread flat and covered in little sugary sprinkles - delightful.Trifle.
He looked at it, eyes full of gluttony and greed.
"Who you like some dear?" She cooed; her smile almost as sweet as the desert in front of them.
"Yes please. Big portion for me!" He grunted back in response - shoving his plate in her direction.
